Your Department:

The Brand Management Team within Opel/Vauxhall´s international marketing organisation is responsible for developing and executing brand and communication strategies for the individual carlines and the umbrella brand. This includes advertising campaigns and marketing communication programs for new product launches and for lifecycle management. The team is also responsible for managing the development of communication assets such as photography and film (eg. TV advertising) materials, working in close partnership with the advertising and communication agencies of Opel. The distribution of assets and the supervision of their local adaptation process in the European markets is also a key task of the team members.

Your tasks:

- Management of brand strategies and communication lifecycle of carlines within scope of responsibility and supporting role with individual responsibilities in complementary tasks

- Support  in developing carline brand and communication plans, classical communication campaigns, special communication activities and reinforcing carline positioning

- Supporting the creation of communication toolbox, film concepts and photo imagery for offline and online advertising use as well as sales literature assets and POS communication material

- Taking on allocated tasks in production and realization of communication assets for carlines in scope incl. budget management, creative production management and roll-out to markets and/or partner disciplines and departments, as well as cooperation contract management with partners (eg. testimonials) where applicable

- Market coordination for the carlines, campaign roll-out, adaptation support and control (‘image clearance’) and attending local needs and requirements

Qualifikationen

Qualification:

- University Degree with focus on Business Studies, Marketing or Communication Science

- Marketing communication related work experience (e.g. employment or internship in an international marketing organization or advertising agency)

- Genuine affinity and dedication to the described job function

- Strong motivation to learn and develop in the field of marketing communication

- Keen perception

- Good knowledge of communication productions in all media & formats

- Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant software

- Very good presentation skills

- Excellent communication skills in English

- German is a plus as the role is based in Germany

- Any other European language is an advantage
