The Munich office of BBDO Worldwide seeks an intern to work in the strategic planning discipline. The planning group addresses strategic issues for a major German multinational marketer.  

Your tasks will include

  • Statistical analysis 
  • Internet research 
  • Preparation and editing of documents 
  • Administrative assistance 

Practical details

  • The internship is full-time, located in Munich 
  • Interns are responsible for their own travel to and from Munich, and accommodation. 
  • BBDO pays a small monthly stipend, in recognition of your contribution to our business. 
  • Standard internships last three months, but terms of other lengths may be negotiated. The internship begins August 15 and lasts until early December.
  • Academic integration:  Students completing dissertations or other specific course requirements are welcome to apply.
  • Past interns have come from many countries and backgrounds, and BBDO Worldwide encourages applicants from abroad as well as inside Germany. But bear in mind that by law, we will need to give preference applicants with work, study or residency status in the EU.

Desired Skills & Experience

The skills we need

  • Confidence with numbers
  • Grounding in behavioural statistics is essential 
  • Command of Microsoft Excel is a prerequisite 
  • Working knowledge of SPSS is very highly regarded 

Good Internet research skills 

  • On the academic web 
  • In the broader online environment 

Highly developed verbal skills 

  • Fluency in business English is a prerequisite 
  • Fluency in German is very highly regarded. 

Good document-writing and editing skills.  

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Point is a prerequisite. 
  • Print layout skills are very highly regarded
