Online Marketing Manager - PPC, SEO and Insights (f/m)

Background and Mission

We’re looking for an experienced online marketer to join our Online Sales Team. Leveraging our six-digit annual performance marketing budget, you will be responsible for improving our sales to new customers and for upselling to existing customers. Furthermore, you’ll be seeking out new and creative ways to build additional contact points and customer journeys by propagating our editorial content via performance marketing and SEO.

Your initiatives will be informed by the hard data that you will analyze. In addition, you are responsible for improving knowledge in the company about our website’s performance.

What you will do

  • Manage search, display and retargeting campaigns as well as promotions on social media
  • Continuously manage and optimize our performance marketing campaigns while making sure our activities are always ‘on brand’
  • Generate completely new contact points utilizing our pool of editorial content to create meaningful customer journeys from lead to purchase
  • Work with our editorial teams and SEO agency to improve organic search ranking of and of our editorial content
  • Work with our local brand managers to support their community building efforts with your performance marketing and SEO tool set
  • Identify, implement and interpret a/b tests on landing pages for performance marketing and other important pages and processes on
  • Use Google Analytics to create a regular website reporting routine to share with other marketing and sales stakeholders
  • Work with our Controlling Team to align your insights about website performance with other reporting modules and (offline) data
  • As part of our redundancy plan for important time-critical tasks you will share the responsibility of sending Ableton mass mailings with the other members of the Online Sales Team

What you need to bring

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in performance marketing/SEO
  • Good understanding of what works and what doesn’t in online marketing
  • A synthesis of creative, yet analytical thinking
  • An understanding for the restrictions of a strong brand
  • Experience in the use of Google Analytics or a similar web analytics product
  • Fluent English
  • Willingness to relocate - this position is permanently located in Berlin
