We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Terminal Manager for our Depot in Wuerzburg, Germany.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive behavior of own staff, contractors and drivers at the depot towards a pro-active HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) culture; ensure compliance with HSSE standards and legal requirements 
  • Manage inbound-, outbound- and storage operations in full compliance with HSSE requirements 
  • Ensure the ongoing operational readiness of all technical equipment, responsible for all maintenance activities 
  • Accountable for legal and fiscal matters 
  • Manage OPEX budget; responsible for financial and operational results 
  • Maintain appropriate standards at facility, ensuring compliance with management systems, procedures, local and global standards 
  • Ensure operation of depot whilst liaising with Supply, OtD, Retail and B2B colleagues and provide the right support to the end-to-end process 
  • Check and control product throughputs, gains/losses, quality and maintenance for the depot 
  • Manage and deliver the asset integrity processes (R&I, ME and AIM), in the depot under the own area of responsibility and in coordination with the relevant Engineering resources, in full compliance of the corresponding DGAME manual 
  • Embed the D-AMS (Asset Management) processes in the depot under the own area of responsibility, ensuring compliance to the relevant asset integrity standards and legal requirements 
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships with stakeholders (authorities, CoBs, sales staff, etc.) 
  • Manage HEMP and apply when planning projects/issuing work permits 
  • Translate Global, Regional and Area policies into local policies, action plans and targets; communicate and implement in own operations 
  • Instill Q1 performance culture, support performance development programs. Propose, implement and control plant improvement changes including depot OPEX and CAPEX plans 
  • Ensure proper staffing through attraction, coaching and development of people, covering aspects like D & I, Competences, Performance Management and Recognition & Reward, supported by Facilities Manager



Requirements:


  • University degree in technical or logistical discipline 
  • Significant working experience in technical/logistics/distribution roles 
  • Strongly visible HSE leadership 
  • Affinity with an operational environment / asset management 
  • Strong people leadership as well as stakeholder engagement skills 
  • Good Communication skills 
  • Hands-on mentality 
  • Good Project Management skills 
  • Stress resistant and flexible 
  • Well-organized, independent and proactive
